Much of the textile industry was loacted in rural communities across our early country.
Growing flax, spinning, weaving and quilting produced product for the farm and product to barter or sell at market.
The museum contains a wide assortment of textile tools and examples of home industry. The museum has its own flax garden and yearly demonstrates the harvest, processing, and use of flax from the farm.
Weaving demonstrations and a wide range of early tools are available for viewing daily.
