The PA Heritage Festival

         Festival

The PA Heritage Festival is the largest living history festival in the Twin Tiers. Located at The Heritage Village and Museum grounds in Troy Pennsylania, the festival features hundreds of demonstartors and aritisans on the grounds of the fully restored Heritage Village.

As you walk the grounds, visit the Civil War encampment. March in military parade and enjoy the cannons as the north and south fire on each other and the reports echo through the valley.

The largest collection of carriages, buggies and sleighs are a treat in the 125 foot long restored carriage house. Stroll through the rest of the village with a barbershop, little childrens church, a schoolhouse, sugar shack as you make your way to the Inn. The Inn is a fully restored 1822 stage coach Inn, complete with demonstrators inside.

If you like shopping, the artisan marketplace is two large display barns loaded with juried vendors from far and wide. Glass blowing, jewelry, soaps and even Christmas ornaments! You'd be amazed what the artists produce.

If you like that old music, it's here for you at the stage. There's a kids games area with activites from kite making to stilt walking. And the Bradford County Farm Museum is full of interesting information for the kid in all of us.
